    SATURDAY 27th JULY 2018

This is the official thread for the 2019 National Skyline & GT-R Day (NS&GTRD) that has been organised by the GTROC but is open to “ALL” owners of Nissan Skyline (any models), Nissan Stagea & of course the Nissan GT-R (all models).

The GTROC organised the last one in 2015 which was a huge success with media & photos from the day being used by many other clubs & organisations.

You do not need to be a Member of the GTROC or any other car club to take part on this day, however you “MUST” purchase your tickets using the GTROC BOOKING CODE as you will be parked on our extended stand on the Saturday & this will also give you access to the Official Parade Lap as well.

The parade lap is being organised between the organisers of the SSC & ourselves contrary to any other rumour that you may have heard. So far we can tell you it will be on the Saturday afternoon – like last time – but we will have more details in the future.

For now you can now buy your tickets from the Silverstone Classic Website using our unique booking code that you will qualify for the Car Club Package which gives you :

    • Drivers Ticket
    • Passengers Ticket
    • Vehicle Pass to the Club Stand

There are three pricing levels depending on the date you purchase them from the SC website :

    • Super Early Bird Package until 31/12/2018
    • Early Bird Package between the 01/01/2019 & 31/03/2019
    • Standard Package between 01/04/2019 until 31/05/2019

PLEASE NOTE – The last day you can purchase your tickets is the 31/05/2019. The prices are as follows depending if they are super early, early or standard as above :

    • Saturday – £72 / £75 / £79

This is a very large saving compared to the normal ticket prices, but to get this you need to obtain your unique booking code. To do this please email :

    heritage@gtroc.org

Once you have been sent the code then you can go to the Silverstone Classic Website by clicking the link below :

    https://silverstoneclassic.seetickets.com/event/silverstone-classic/silverstone/1266782?src=carclubs&_ga=2.12539892.1712353775.1541634657-1513354526.1541634657

or if you go to the Silverstone Classic Website where it says TICKETS, hover the mouse over this & a dropdown box will appear. Click on CAR CLUB TICKETS.

Enter the code that you have been sent & you will then be able to purchase your discounted tickets.

Don’t forget the initial package is for the driver, one passenger & of course the vehicle pass to get to allocated parking for the National Skyline & GT-R Day which is by the GTROC Stand. This vehicle pass also allows you to take park in the official parade lap on the Saturday afternoon.

You will also be able to purchase additional passenger tickets, hospitality, camping & other extras for the event.

You need to be on the Club Stand BEFORE 10:00am as there is no car movement allowed between 10:00am & 05:00pm on the infield where all club stands are based – apart from going to & from the parade lap.

Once you have purchased your tickets please add your name below :

So is it just Ross and Video Monkey attending the classic?

just can’t deal with having to book so early as work commitments change regularly

No we have cars into double figures as I said on the FB chat the other week.

Thing with the social media & events now is SM makes updating events quicker & easier & forums become almost secondary to non existent – which is wrong I know.

Plus as most organisers now have people buying their tickets & passes direct to them using a ‘club-code’. These tickets & passes are then emailed direct to the person so there no contact with said Club in this process, so maintaining lists again becomes a lot harder & more redundant on forums!
