monkeynutsParticipantI know they are in the wrong place so can some kind Mod move them to the correct location ……………………..Ta
This place is a graveyard for crap photography due to a bright Red carpet and poor lighting so this is my attempt from this morning
Big thanks to all that made it happen

nice pics Steve – thanks for the share!
Thanks for the kind comments Mart :)
6 years, 5 months agoGreat pictures Steve. I am sure there are lots more to come from others. It was not easy to get clear pics as the stand was very popular and there was always someone stood in front of the cars
.
6 years, 5 months agoI know I never captured every one but humans kept getting in the way :smash:
Steve, I know it’s off-topic, but have tried using “Median” within Photoshop?
http://phlearn.com/automatically-remove-objects-photos-photoshop6 years, 5 months agoIt’s good to see these early pics – I suspect ours will be no match for Steve’s images.
Anyway, I’m going to the car wash now to get the motorway salt off my old baby.
Back as soon as possible to see what our pics look like.

Sometimes shots off of my I Phone came out better Lol
all shots were taken in Jpeg/Raw and have had loads of adjusting to try and get the white balance correct …………….some were just impossible to get right ………………..white always looks yellowish under those lights

6 years, 5 months agoI have two questions:
1) Is the interviewer taking a sneaky peek at Suzie’s legs in that last photo?
2) Did Jack manage to get his car onto stage without either ruining his splitter or reversing into one of the other cars? If so, that must be the first time!

Answers:
1) It’s not legs he’s looking at.
2) No, the splitter got scraped exiting the Ramada car park on the outward journry to the NEC. One or two members in the convoy heard the noise but luckily the damage was confined to the underside. Naturally it got scraped again on Monday morning on the way home. I give up. :heart-borken:
6 years, 5 months agoJust a few grainy low light pics in the freezing Hall.

Ross and Flag.JPG6 years, 5 months agoIs does not matter how grainy the shots are it captures the atmos and the event :)
6 years, 5 months agoJust to put the record straight :gossip:
When I attended this event I was not working for the GTROC I was working freelance for myself and Evolution Mag
I hope that stops all the confusion :courage:
The pictures were taken as a favour for some people who have been very kind and helpful over the last year :couple_inlove:

Yup Steve, our last pics were just to capture the pre-event atmosphere.
No matter how much we try, it’s difficult to take sharp pics like you. Maureen was trying out her Chistmas present TZ60 but the pics were still technically crap.
Anyway, let’s await some more pro pics from you.:thumb:
6 years, 5 months agoI just don’t know how to get the quality of pics that Steve posts after many events.
Reference the last set, I adore the somewhat modified Anglia and the Maxxis girl who was probably not wearing knickers.
6 years, 5 months agoIt’s like Jack said Steve, I just can’t get over the quality of your shots as the lighting & that lovely carpet make photography very difficult & im not even an amateur photographer to understand that :thumb:
Loving the yellow shuv-it (Chevett), memories from my early car days with my friends modified saloon version he got off his grandad!

The whole lot was shot in RAW this allows to you adjust every setting to get the colours ( white balance) correct
Each shot took about 5-10 mins playing with in photoshop on a Graphics tablet and pen to get something like you see with your eye
I never get this involved with any motorsport picture outside just shoot JPEG and maybe sharpen in lightroom
My shots are ok but not brill as I hate taking static shots ……………….But getting better
Some shot with flash but mostly none used a monopod and slow shutter speed
This is why I have loads of scrap shots of the gtr’s when people have drifted into shot and are blurred :(
The joys of a crowded place
Really appreciate the kind comments guys I just feel they are ok pictures but not as good as some I have seen
Cheers Steve
